JumpStarters: Empowering Refugee Entrepreneurs in Athens, Greece.

What is JumpStarters?

JumpStarters is a pilot entrepreneurship program by Refugee JumpStart Coaching, launched in Athens, Greece, to support refugee entrepreneurs in building sustainable and impactful businesses. Designed with a deep understanding of the refugee experience, the program provides tailored training, expert mentorship, and access to funding opportunities. An integral part of the program is our online learning platform, which delivers structured classes from our professors on all key steps of starting a business—such as budget planning and creating a business plan.

Through hands-on coaching, market-focused skills development, and a strong support network, JumpStarters equips entrepreneurial-minded refugees with the tools they need to transform their ideas into thriving businesses. The program not only focuses on technical skills such as market research, financial planning, and pitch development, but also fosters critical soft skills like leadership, resilience and strategic thinking.

This initiative is more than just a business program; it is a platform for transformation, aiming to elevate refugee voices, promote self-reliance, and contribute to the broader economic vitality of host communities.
