Refugee JumpStart Now a Registered Non-Profit!

We’re delighted to announce that RJS is now approved by the IRS as a registered U.S. Non-profit organization (501c3 ) based in California. We went “live” as our own non-profit on January 1, 2024. We are currently classified as a Private Foundation but we hope to soon be reclassified as a Public Charity.

Although we were founded in June 2021, we were previously under the fiscal sponsorship of Lifting Hands International (LHI), so it is a big step for us to be our own non profit now!
